Meet Our Team

Kristen Kuklinski, BSN, RN, brings nearly a decade of nursing experience rooted in compassionate, patient-centered care. A Nebraska native, she graduated with honors from the University of Nebraska Medical Center before being selected for a specialty fellowship at Nebraska Medicine. There, she cross-trained across trauma, cardiology, oncology, neurology, and behavioral health, while also serving as a frontline nurse during the COVID-19 pandemic, sharpening her clinical judgment and adaptability in high-acuity environments.

After relocating to Des Moines, Kristen focused her career entirely on mental health, delivering care across adult inpatient facilities and residential programs for children and adolescents. Now with the MWI Health network, she is dedicated to building strong therapeutic relationships and expanding access to high-quality psychiatric care.

Outside the clinic, Kristen enjoys practicing yoga, tending to her garden, competing on a trivia team with her husband, and relaxing with her cat, Bean.
