Megan Derenge
MA, MSN, CNP, PMHNP-BC
Megan joined the MWI team in 2024 assisting Dr. Pavlis with Veteran psychiatric evaluations and reports. Before earning her Master of Science in Nursing Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner degree from SDSU, she brings over 10 years of diverse experiences in healthcare ranging from inpatient oncology nursing, emergency room nursing, travel nursing, teaching undergraduate clinicals, and working as a hospice aide.
Discovering a passion for mental health during her nursing career, Megan also earned a Master of Arts degree in Pastoral Counseling from Liberty University in 2020. She completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Augustana University in 2016 and is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Megan is originally from Sioux Falls and her special interests include trauma/PTSD, anxiety, and treatment-resistant depression.
